Where to Rent?
You will sign a waiver and pay for desired rental time at Lake County Divers Supply located at 305 Main St. Hobart, IN. The Kayaks are launched a few steps from the Lake George clock tower.
What to wear?
Dress for weather. Wear water friendly and comfortable clothing. Avoid denim and heavy cotton clothing.
What to bring?
Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, water bottle, snacks, and zip lock bags for valuables. Dry bags are available for purchases from the dive shop.
What not to bring?
Alcohol and sorry, no pets.
Is kayaking hard?
Kayaking is easy and fun for most age and skill levels. All of our kayaks are top of the line ocean kayaks. These are the “sit on top” style that provides comfort and stability while you paddle lake George at your own pace.
Is there an age requirement?
You must be at least 18 years of age to rent a single kayak. Under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Do you sell used kayaks?
We evaluate our kayaks throughout the season, please inquire if you are interested.
